ESKOM UGANDA COMMEMORATES 19TH ANNIVERSARY.

1st April 2022, Eskom Uganda marked 19 years of existence and generating affordable and reliable electricity for Uganda. Eskom took over the operations of Nalubaale and Kiira Power stations on 1st April 2003 from Uganda Electricity Generation Company (UEGCL) after it was granted a 20-year concession and has since then ensured the prudent operation and maintenance of the two power plants.  The celebration to mark the anniversary was held at Nalubaale Power Station complex and was attended by management and staff. Speaking at the event the Managing Director Thozama Gangi highlighted Eskom’s success journey and achievements over the past 19 years.
