The Best Success Formula Ever!

Well, it's that time of year again. When all the New Year's resolutions are nearly forgotten, a few months into the New Year!

Your usual gym is not as crowded as it was about a month ago. It's a fact. Every year 45% of adults set New Year's resolutions, yet 25% can't even make it past the FIRST week. And only 8% are successful in achieving them. Well believe it or not, there is one success formula you should be taking DAILY, in order to land in the 8% category.

It's NOT a magic bullet. It's something I recommend. It's called “CONSISTENCY”. Consistency, NOT perfection is the real secret of the 8% because there is no such thing as "perfection" when it comes to life in general.

You are going to do bad things sometimes when you're not supposed to. I'm going to sleep longer sometimes when I'm not supposed to. Sometimes you're going to forget something important and be lazy when you shouldn't.  So do I. Many times you may even fall off track for more than a few days at a time. It happens to all of us. It's called LIFE.

So the next time you mess up or you slack off or you fall off track for a while-Forget about it. Who cares? Forgive yourself immediately, shake it off, and start over, again, TOMORROW. NOT this coming Monday. NOT the first of the month. NOT when everything is "just right" in your life. Start over again TOMORROW. And never quit starting over again. This is the only way you're going to make progress that will last. I've personally seen hundreds of people over the years beat themselves up and self-sabotage their efforts because they think it's either ALL or nothing with their goals. They end up overweight, depressed, and unmotivated.

INSTEAD focus on today and tomorrow. Dwelling on your mistakes or inconsistencies is nothing but a WASTE of time and energy. Your two most precious assets. So whenever you beat yourself up or get stuck in a rut, always remember this saying:

"Yesterday is in the tomb. Tomorrow is in the womb. All we have is TODAY."

Make sure you wake up EVERY day and take this success formula called "consistency" and forget about perfection because it does not exist.
